All of my sessions are customized and adapted to meet each of my clients needs. Once you book with me, we will schedule a pre-consult to go over your session details. I would love to meet you in person, however, I know how busy we can all get so phone consults work great for me too! Just let me know what would work best for you.
A classic genre for family, HS senior, and children’s photo shoots! Natures beautiful backdrop and gorgeous natural light make for timeless photographs! If you choose an outdoor location for your shoot, I will scout the perfect location for you depending on the time of day we shoot. Most outdoor sessions take place on my property in North Spokane.
In-Home Lifestyle Sessions
These shoots always end up being my favorites! Not only do I get to capture photos of your family, but I get to do it in a place where memories are made on the daily! If you choose an in-home photo session, here are a few things to keep in mind (we will go over these in your pre-consult). What rooms do you spend the most time in as a family? I will want to do our shooting in those locations. How is the lighting in your home? Is there a certain time of day that you find your home is the brightest? This is the time of day we will aim to set up your session. Will you have to clean your home? Well, yes. But it doesn’t have to be spotless! Lived in but clean is a great look to go for. 😉 Eliminate clutter and try to keep the rooms we are shooting in as tidy as possible for the day of the shoot.
The Traveling Studio Boutique
While my studio is under constructing I am offering a unique and fun new studio experience that everyone will love! Let me bring the studio to you!! I’ll bring my traveling studio backdrops and lighting and we can create beautiful studio portraits of you, your family, and your children where you are most comfortable: your own home! Set up, as well as beak down, time for the studio is about 30 minutes, while shooting time for these sessions is 60 minutes, so please be prepared for me to be at your home for around 2 hours.
Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever. It remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.

Here are some hints and tips for any type of session you schedules:
-Eat a healthy (but not heavy) meal before your session and make sure you pack a healthy snack and water bottles for you kiddos! Hangry doesn’t photograph well. 😉
-Bring your kiddos Lovies! Happy kids equal awesome photos and, personally, I love a good shot of little ones with their cherished teddy or snuggly!
-I like to start my sessions with posed photos and work into a lifestyle type session once the kids (and adults 😉 ) have warmed up in front of the camera. Be patient. Sometimes it take Little Ones a bit to be comfortable with a stranger pointing a large camera at their face! I will ask you to stand directly behind, almost touching me, as I’m photographing your kiddos. This way they won’t be looking off to the side at you as we’re photographing. I may even take them aside for a couple shots just on our own if they are comfortable doing that!
-Classic, timeless clothing choices are my favorites. Neutrals and coordinating colors, but not matchy matchy…you can’t go wrong with these choices! If you need help or want advice on outfits for your session, shoot me an email or text! I would love to help and can give you some tips and opinions on what would work great for your specific shoot and location!
-If we are doing a session at your home, you are welcome to do clothing changes! However, please keep into consideration the time it takes to change clothing as that will cut into our session time. 😉
